About Cosplay Fabrics

CosplayFabrics.com was founded by two specialty fabric and fashion veterans who recognized the need for cosplay designers to have a large selection of unique fabrics right where they already shop! The entire company, a division of Wyla, an Advantus Corp. brand, is committed to making the best product possible for the cosplay community and to make it as accessible as possible. We are working closely with cosplayers (and even have cosplayers on our team!) to help select fabric that fit the bill in terms of having:

HOW WE GOT STARTED
We at Cosplay Fabrics have decades of experience in the fabric and fashion industries and have put that knowledge into developing a line of fabrics that have, traditionally, been hard for cosplay creators to find. Working with Yaya Han was a clear choice for us from the beginning. She is an icon in the world of cosplay and brings to the table an immense technical knowledge of materials, costume design & construction. Our team collaborated to create a collection of fabrics that put high-quality, hard-to-find fabrics into the hands of cosplayers.
WHERE ARE WE GOING
Our initial product line, the Yaya Han Collection, launched in the Spring of 2016 and is available in the United States exclusively from JOANN Stores and worldwide right here on this website. Our aim with the initial collection was to cover many of the basics, so it included 4-way stretch, great coordinating color choices, special coatings and textures as well as beautiful brocades that, formerly, could only be found as heavy materials in the upholstery section. But that’s just the beginning. We are expanding the line based on what we’re hearing from you!
Subsequent releases from the Yaya Han Collection have built on the popularity of fabrics in the initial collection. We have fabrics suited for just about any cosplay – from your favorite superheroes or video game characters to Star Wars, Game of Thrones and more. And there’s plenty more in store!
